The .177 Caliber Air Rifle is a BB/Pellet Gun that replaces the AR-75 Assault Rifle.  It uses CO2 cartridges and can fire both pellets and BB's.  The BB's are just a tad more powerful than the AR-75 shots and the pellets are as powerful as the grenades (Hey, it's the 28th century isn't it?  Anything's possible!).  Anyway,  the .177 Caliber Air Rifle has realistic graphics (in thousands of colors), maybe because they were recorded with my camcorder and transferred to my computer with a video card!  So, I'm almost positive you'll like it.  I bet you're getting anxious to try it so I'll hurry up and explain how to get started!

  14. 1.  Patch your sounds so you can hear the rifle shot.  (Besides, the Physics Model wouldn't work unless you patched your sounds!)
  15. 2.  Patch your shapes so you can see the rifle.  (Besides, the Physics Model wouldn't work unless you patched your shapes too!)
  16. 3.  Patch your copy of Marathon v1.2 (I don't know if it works on earlier versions because I don't have any, and i couldn't try it out.)
  17. 4.  Place the Physics Model in the same folder as Marathon v1.2.

  19. --  The following is for the less intelligent beings!

  21. 5.  Double-click the Marathon v1.2 icon.
  22. 6.  When it gets to the menu,  click on "New Game" to start a new game :) or "Continue Saved Game" to continue a saved game :).
  23. 7.  Now,  the next step is VERY tricky!  You have to find the MA-75 Assault Rifle!  Don't worry,  I have confidence in you!
  24. 8.  Alas, when you get the MA-75 Assault Rifle,  you will notice that it is called a ".177 Cal. Air Rifle".
  25. 9.  Calm down!  That's what it's supposed to be called!
  26. 10.  Now,  ATTACK THE ENEMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  27. 11.  Now don't you feel better now that you're equiped with a BB Gun on a 28th century colony ship infested with pfhor?
